Itay Talgam

Itay Talgam is an Israeli conductor and lecturer known for exploring leadership through the lens of orchestral music-making. He has conducted leading ensembles, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and has worked internationally. Talgam is widely recognized for his public talks, including a TED talk, in which he analyzes how great conductors communicate, motivate, and shape collective performance. Drawing on rehearsal-room experience and examples from classical repertoire, he connects artistic practice with organizational behavior and management. He is the author of *The Ignorant Maestro*, a book that develops his ideas about leadership, listening, and the dynamics between leaders and groups.
