J. J. Abrams

J. J. Abrams (born June 27, 1966) is an American filmmaker and television producer known for combining mystery-driven storytelling with blockbuster spectacle. He co-created the TV series *Felicity* (1998–2002), *Alias* (2001–2006), and *Lost* (2004–2010), and later developed *Fringe* (2008–2013). Abrams directed major studio films including *Mission: Impossible III* (2006), *Star Trek* (2009) and *Star Trek Into Darkness* (2013), *Star Wars: The Force Awakens* (2015), and *Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker* (2019). He founded the production company Bad Robot and has also worked as a screenwriter and composer.
