J. J. Van Der Leeuw

Johannes Jacobus (J. J.) van der Leeuw (1893–1934) was a Dutch businessman and spiritual writer associated with the Theosophical Society. Alongside his commercial career, he pursued religious and philosophical questions, writing on inner development, perception, and the nature of reality. He is known for works including *The Conquest of Illusion* and *The Fire of Creation*, which present a spiritually oriented view of human consciousness and the transformative possibilities of disciplined insight.
