James D'arcy

James D’Arcy (born 24 August 1975) is an English actor. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and began his screen career in British television before moving into international film and TV. D’Arcy is known for playing Edwin Jarvis in *Agent Carter* and for reprising the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film *Avengers: Endgame*. His film credits include Christopher Nolan’s war drama *Dunkirk* (2017). He has also appeared in projects such as *Cloud Atlas* (2012) and the series *Broadchurch*.
