Jason Calacanis

Jason Calacanis (born 1970) is an American entrepreneur, angel investor, podcaster, and author. He founded Weblogs, Inc., a network of blogs that was acquired by AOL in 2005. Calacanis later co-founded the startup incubator Mahalo and has been active as an early-stage investor in technology companies. He is the host of the podcast *This Week in Startups*, where he interviews founders, investors, and technology leaders about entrepreneurship and innovation. Calacanis has also written about startups and venture investing, drawing on his experience building companies and working in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.
