Jason Fried

Jason Fried (born 1974) is an American entrepreneur and author. He co-founded the software company 37signals, later renamed Basecamp, and serves as its CEO. Fried is known for advocating simpler, calmer approaches to building products and running companies. With David Heinemeier Hansson, he co-authored influential business books including *Rework* and *It Doesn’t Have to Be Crazy at Work*, which argue for focused work, small teams, and sustainable pace over constant growth and busyness.
