Jeff Kinney

Jeff Kinney is an American author and cartoonist best known as the creator of the *Diary of a Wimpy Kid* series. He first developed the story as an online serial before it was published in book form, following the middle-school misadventures of Greg Heffley through a mix of text and simple drawings. The series became a major children’s publishing success and expanded into multiple sequels and film adaptations. Kinney has also worked in online entertainment and game design, including the children’s website Poptropica. He lives in Massachusetts, where he and his wife own a bookstore.
