Jensen Ackles

Jensen Ackles (born March 1, 1978) is an American actor and director. He began his career on television, appearing on the soap opera *Days of Our Lives*, which earned him multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations. Ackles later joined the cast of *Dark Angel* and became widely known for portraying Dean Winchester on The CW series *Supernatural* (2005–2020), a role he played for 15 seasons. He has also acted in films including *My Bloody Valentine 3D* (2009). As a director, he helmed several episodes of *Supernatural*. Ackles has voiced Batman in the animated film *Batman: The Long Halloween* (2021).
