Jeremy Gilley

Jeremy Gilley is a British filmmaker and the founder of the Peace One Day initiative. He is best known for the documentary *Peace One Day*, which follows his campaign to establish an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Through Peace One Day, Gilley has worked to promote the United Nations International Day of Peace, observed each year on 21 September. His work combines advocacy with storytelling, using film and public campaigns to encourage participation by governments, organizations, and individuals. Gilley’s efforts have helped raise awareness of the International Day of Peace and inspired events and initiatives in many countries.
