Jimmy Johnson
Jimmy Johnson was born in Port Arthur, Texas in 1943. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, Johnson attended the University of Arkansas, playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks football team as a defensive lineman. The 1964 Razorbacks were undefeated and recognized as national champions. In the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, Johnson was a successful college football coach, most notably for the University of Miami. From 1989 to 1993, he served as head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, and from 1996 to 1999, he coached the Miami Dolphins. Johnson is one of only two coaches to lead teams to both a major college football championship and the Super Bowl.
