Jon Secada

Jon Secada (born Juan Francisco Secada Ramírez on October 4, 1961) is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter known for blending pop and Latin music. Raised in the United States after leaving Cuba, he studied music and later became associated with Miami’s Latin-pop scene. Secada gained international attention in the early 1990s with hits including “Just Another Day,” “Angel,” and “Do You Believe in Us.” He has also worked as a songwriter and collaborator, notably with Gloria Estefan, and has written songs recorded by other major artists. Secada has released albums in both English and Spanish and has performed on Broadway.
