Josh McDowell

Josh McDowell (born 1939) is an American evangelical Christian apologist, author, and speaker. He is best known for writing *Evidence That Demands a Verdict* and *More Than a Carpenter*, works that argue for the historical reliability of Christianity and the case for Jesus’ resurrection. McDowell has also been associated with campus and youth-oriented Christian outreach, speaking widely on faith, apologetics, and personal belief. Over his career he has produced numerous books and resources aimed at helping Christians articulate and defend their convictions.
