Julia Neuberger

Julia Neuberger, Baroness Neuberger (born 1950), is a British rabbi, writer, and member of the House of Lords. She was ordained in the United States and became one of the first women rabbis to serve a British congregation, later holding senior roles in Jewish communal life. Neuberger has written on religion, ethics, and public policy, and has been a prominent voice in debates on healthcare, social justice, and end-of-life issues. Appointed to the House of Lords as a life peer, she sits as a crossbench member and contributes to parliamentary scrutiny and public discussion.
