Junior Seau

Junior Seau (1969–2012) was an American professional football linebacker best known for his career in the National Football League. A standout at the University of Southern California, he was selected fifth overall in the 1990 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and became one of the franchise’s defining players. Seau was a 12-time Pro Bowl selection and earned first-team All-Pro honors multiple times. He later played for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, reaching Super Bowl XLII with the Patriots. Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, Seau remained a prominent figure in San Diego sports and community life.
