Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar started excelling at basketball from a young age, leading his high school to three championships and a 71-game winning streak. In college, Abdul-Jabbar continued breaking records playing for the UCLA Bruins, and was named the first-ever Naismith College Player of the Year in 1969. Abdul-Jabbar’s pro career started with the Milwaukee Bucks, which he played for from 1969–1975, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers from 1975–1989. During his 20-year pro career, Abdul-Jabbar was a 19-time NBA All-Star, 15-time All-NBA, and 11-time NBA All-Defensive Team member, as well as a record 6-time NBA MVP. He has played on 6 NBA championship teams and has been named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.
