Kareem Abdul-Jabbar started excelling at basketball from a young age, leading his high school to three championships and a 71-game winning streak. In college, Abdul-Jabbar continued breaking records playing for the UCLA Bruins, and was named the first-ever Naismith College Player of the Year in 1969. Abdul-Jabbar’s pro career started with the Milwaukee Bucks, which he played for from 1969–1975, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers from 1975–1989.
