Kevin Richardson

Kevin Richardson (born 1974) is a South African animal behaviourist, conservationist, and author widely known as the “Lion Whisperer.” He is recognized for his close work with large carnivores, especially lions, and for advocating their protection through public education and media. Richardson has written and co-written books about his experiences with big cats, including *Part of the Pride* and *A Lion Called Christian*. His work has been featured in documentaries and television programs that highlight human–animal relationships and the challenges facing wildlife in captivity and in the wild. Richardson is also associated with a wildlife sanctuary in South Africa.
