Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley (1951–2022) was an American actress best known for her role as Rebecca Howe on the NBC sitcom *Cheers*, which earned her an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe. She also starred in the popular comedy film *Look Who’s Talking* (1989) and its sequels, becoming a familiar presence in mainstream American entertainment. Alley later appeared in television films and series, including *Veronica’s Closet*, and competed on *Dancing with the Stars*. Beyond acting, she was a prominent public figure whose personal life and views often drew media attention. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, and died in 2022.
