Krista Tippett

Krista Tippett (born Krista Weedman) is an American journalist, author, and broadcaster best known as the creator and host of the public radio program and podcast *On Being*. She began her career in journalism after studying at Brown University and later earned a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School. Tippett’s work explores religion, ethics, and the human experience through interviews and essays that bring together voices from science, philosophy, and the arts. She has written books including *Speaking of Faith* and *Becoming Wise*. Tippett has received major honors for her public service journalism, including a Peabody Award and the National Humanities Medal.
