Kristin Kreuk

Kristin Kreuk (born December 30, 1982) is a Canadian actress. She gained international recognition for playing Lana Lang on the television series *Smallville* (2001–2009). Kreuk later starred as Catherine Chandler in The CW’s *Beauty & the Beast* (2012–2016). Her other television work includes the lead role of Joanna Mills in the miniseries *Edgemont* (2000–2005) and a starring role in *Burden of Truth* (2018–2021), in which she played lawyer Joanna Hanley. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Kreuk began acting as a teenager and has worked in both Canadian and U.S. productions.
