Larry King

Larry King (1933–2021) was an American television and radio host renowned for his long-form interviews. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his broadcasting career in Miami before gaining national prominence. From 1985 to 2010 he hosted CNN’s nightly “Larry King Live,” interviewing politicians, entertainers, and public figures in thousands of episodes. Known for a direct, conversational style, King also worked in radio and later hosted interview programs for other outlets. Though not primarily a literary author, he published several books, including memoir and advice titles, reflecting on broadcasting, interviewing, and his public life.
