Larry Page (Lawrence Edward Page, born March 26, 1973) is an American computer scientist and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of Google. With Sergey Brin, he developed the PageRank algorithm while they were graduate students at Stanford University, helping shape modern web search. Page and Brin founded Google in 1998, and he served as the company’s chief executive officer from 1998 to 2001 and again from 2011 to 2015. After Google reorganized under the holding company Alphabet Inc. in 2015, Page became Alphabet’s CEO, a role he held until 2019.
