Lea DeLaria

Lea DeLaria (born 1958) is an American comedian, actress, and jazz singer. She is known for her role as Carrie “Big Boo” Black on the Netflix series *Orange Is the New Black*. DeLaria has also built a career in stand-up comedy and musical theater, performing on stage as well as in other screen projects.
