Lee Pace

Lee Pace (born March 25, 1979) is an American actor. Raised in Texas, he studied at the Juilliard School and began his career in theater before moving into film and television. He gained wide recognition for playing Ned in the TV series *Pushing Daisies* (2007–2009), a performance that brought him major award nominations. Pace later portrayed the Elvenking Thranduil in Peter Jackson’s *The Hobbit* film trilogy (2012–2014). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he played the villain Ronan the Accuser in *Guardians of the Galaxy* (2014) and returned to the role in *Captain Marvel* (2019).
