Lucinda Franks

Lucinda Franks (1946–2016) was an American journalist and author. She worked as a reporter and became known for her narrative nonfiction and memoir writing. Franks wrote *My Father’s Secret War*, a memoir exploring her family history and her father’s experiences during World War II. She also co-wrote *Not Quite a Memoir* with Richard McGuire, blending personal recollection with a reflective, literary approach.
