Maharaj Charan Singh Ji

Maharaj Charan Singh Ji (1916–1990) was an Indian spiritual leader associated with the Sant Mat tradition. He served as the third Satguru (spiritual head) of Radha Soami Satsang Beas (RSSB), based in Beas, Punjab, guiding the organization for decades in the mid-to-late twentieth century. Known for emphasizing inner meditation practice and ethical living, he gave talks and answered seekers’ questions in a direct, practical style. His teachings were widely circulated through published collections, including *Die to Live* and *Spiritual Discourses*, which present Sant Mat principles and guidance on spiritual discipline. He is remembered for his influence on RSSB’s international following.
