Maria Shriver

Maria Shriver (born 1955) is an American journalist and author, and a prominent member of the Kennedy family. She worked in broadcast journalism, including roles at major U.S. television networks, and became known for reporting and producing on public affairs and social issues. Shriver served as First Lady of California during the administration of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. She has written books and has been active in advocacy and philanthropy, particularly focused on women’s health and caregiving. She founded The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, an initiative that supports research and raises awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and its impact on women.
