Marianne Williamson

Marianne Williamson was born in 1952 in Houston, Texas. She attended and graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California. Williamson has published more than ten books, including four New York Times #1 bestsellers. Her books, some of which include A Return to Love and The Gift of Change, primarily concern spirituality and relationships. Williamson is also a lecturer, running the Sister Giant seminar series for female empowerment, and has been a guest on Oprah, Good Morning America, Larry King Live, and Charlie Rose. Additionally, Williamson is the founder of Project Angel Food ,the meals-on-wheels program for homebound AIDS victims, and the co-founder of The Peace Alliance, a grassroots campaign to establish a United States Department of Peace.
