Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart (born Martha Helen Kostyra, August 3, 1941) is an American businesswoman, writer, and television personality known for homekeeping, cooking, and lifestyle media. She began her career as a stockbroker and later built a catering business that helped launch her publishing and broadcasting work. Stewart founded Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, which grew into a major lifestyle brand spanning magazines, books, television, and merchandising. She hosted the syndicated series *Martha Stewart Living* and later *The Martha Stewart Show*.
