Marty Pollio
Marty Pollio was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1955. After graduating high school, Pollio was in his third year of a four-year electrician apprenticeship when he quit to become an actor. He began performing in 1977, working as a mime at a theme park. He later became a stand-up comedian, though he is still known more for physical comedy than stand-up. Additionally, Pollio was a movement instructor for the Tony Award-winning company of National Theatre of the Deaf and has appeared on various TV shows, including The Tonight Show and Night Court. He has a one-man show called Prisoners of Cheese.
