Maureen O'Hara

Maureen O’Hara (1920–2015) was an Irish film actress and singer whose career spanned classic Hollywood and later screen work. Born in Dublin, she became known for her striking screen presence and for playing strong-willed heroines. O’Hara starred in major studio films including *Miracle on 34th Street* (1947) and *The Quiet Man* (1952), the latter a celebrated Irish-set drama.
