Max Greenfield

Max Greenfield (born September 4, 1980) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Winston “Schmidt” Schmidt on the Fox sitcom *New Girl* (2011–2018), a role that brought him wide recognition. Greenfield has also appeared in television series including *Veronica Mars*, *Greek*, *Raising Hope*, and *The Mindy Project*. He starred as Dave Johnson in the CBS comedy *The Neighborhood* (2018–2024) and has acted in films such as *The Big Short* (2015) and *Promising Young Woman* (2020). Greenfield was born in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
