Max Lucado

Max Lucado (born 1955) is an American evangelical Christian author and pastor known for inspirational devotional writing. He has written numerous bestselling books, including *Just Like Jesus* and the children’s story *You Are Special*, which have helped make him a widely read voice in contemporary Christian publishing. Lucado has also served in church leadership for decades and is closely associated with Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, where he has been a longtime minister.
