Michael Jordan

As a child, Jordan excelled in baseball, football, and basketball. He played varsity basketball in high school and was recruited by many college basketball teams, settling on North Carolina. He accumulated numerous awards and accolades as a college player, including ACC Freshman of the Year and the Naismith and Wooden College Player of the Year Awards. Jordan was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 NBA draft, quickly becoming a breakout star and racking up awards, including six NBA champion awards. Jordan retired from basketball in 1993 and briefly played minor league baseball. Jordan returned to play for the Bulls in 1995 and retired again in 1999; he returned to the NBA again in 2001 to play for the Washington Wizards. Since retiring in 2003, Jordan spends his time playing golf in charity tournaments and riding motorcycles.
