Mike Binder

Mike Binder (born 1958) is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, director, producer, actor, and stand-up comedian. He began his career in comedy before moving into film and television, building a reputation for character-driven stories that blend humor with emotional realism. Binder wrote and directed *The Upside of Anger* (2005), a drama-comedy starring Joan Allen and Kevin Costner, and later wrote and directed *Reign Over Me* (2007), a drama featuring Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle. In addition to writing and directing, he has appeared on screen and worked behind the scenes as a producer, maintaining a multifaceted presence in American entertainment.
