Mike Shinoda

Mike Shinoda (born 1977) is an American musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. He co-founded the rock band Linkin Park, where he became known for blending rap and melodic vocals within a hybrid rock sound. Shinoda also created the hip-hop project Fort Minor, releasing music under that name alongside his work with Linkin Park. In addition to performing, he has been credited as a songwriter and producer, contributing to the group’s recordings and broader creative direction. Across these projects, Shinoda has built a career spanning multiple genres, moving between rap, rock, and electronic influences while maintaining a prominent role in contemporary popular music.
