Morgan Spurlock

Morgan Spurlock (1970–2024) was an American documentary filmmaker and television personality. He was best known for directing and starring in the 2004 documentary film *Super Size Me*, which examined the effects of eating fast food. Spurlock also created and hosted the television series *30 Days*, in which participants immersed themselves in unfamiliar lifestyles and viewpoints. His work often used first-person participation and on-camera narration to explore social issues and consumer culture. Over his career he directed, produced, and appeared in a range of nonfiction projects for film and television, becoming a prominent figure in early-2000s documentary media.
