Nancy Kerrigan
Nancy Kerrigan (born October 13, 1969) is an American former competitive figure skater. She won the silver medal in ladies’ singles at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and also earned a bronze medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. Kerrigan became internationally known in January 1994 after she was attacked at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit, an incident later linked to associates of fellow skater Tonya Harding. She returned to competition within weeks and went on to medal at the Olympics. After retiring from eligible competition, she appeared in skating shows and worked as a television commentator.
