Nicholas Christakis

Nicholas A. Christakis is an American physician and sociologist whose work examines how social networks shape human behavior and health outcomes. He is a Sterling Professor at Yale University, where he has held appointments in sociology and medicine and has led research on the spread of behaviors, emotions, and disease through social ties.
