Noah Feldman

Noah Feldman (born 1970) is an American legal scholar and professor at Harvard Law School. His work focuses on constitutional law, Islamic law, and the relationship between religion and politics. Feldman has written widely for both academic and general audiences, examining how legal and religious ideas shape modern governance. He is the author of *Divided by God*, a study of religion’s role in American public life, and *The Three Lives of James Madison*, a biographical account of the fourth U.S. president and his evolving political thought. Feldman is also known for commentary on constitutional issues and the law’s role in democratic society.
