Paul Anka

Paul Anka (born July 30, 1941) is a Canadian-American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to international fame as a teenager with the 1957 hit “Diana,” followed by other pop successes including “Lonely Boy.” Beyond his own recordings, Anka became a prominent songwriter for other performers. He wrote the English lyrics to “My Way,” adapted from the French song “Comme d’habitude,” which Frank Sinatra famously recorded in 1969. Anka has also written songs for artists such as Tom Jones (“She’s a Lady”) and Donny Osmond (“Puppy Love”). His career has spanned multiple decades across music and entertainment.
