Paula Deen

Paula Deen (born January 19, 1947) is an American celebrity chef, cookbook author, and television personality associated with Southern cuisine. She founded The Lady & Sons restaurant in Savannah, Georgia, and later opened Paula Deen’s Creek House. Deen rose to national prominence through Food Network programs including *Paula’s Home Cooking*. She has published multiple cookbooks and built a lifestyle brand spanning food products and media appearances. In 2012 she was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame.
