Paulo Coelho

Paulo Coelho (born 1947) is a Brazilian novelist and lyricist best known for the international bestseller *The Alchemist*. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he later became a prominent figure in contemporary popular fiction, writing novels that blend spiritual themes with allegorical storytelling. Coelho’s work has been translated into many languages and has reached a wide global readership. In addition to his novels, he has written song lyrics, including collaborations with Brazilian musician Raul Seixas.
