Rae Carson

Rae Carson is an American author of young adult fantasy. She is best known for the “Girl of Fire and Thorns” series, which begins with *The Girl of Fire and Thorns*, and for the “Gold Seer” duology, starting with *The Gold Seer*. Carson has also written *The Bitter Kingdom* and other YA novels. In addition to her fantasy work, she co-wrote the *Star Wars* novel *Most Wanted* with Corinne Duyvis. She has published under the name Rae Carson Levine as well as Rae Carson, and her books often blend adventure, political intrigue, and coming-of-age themes.
