Ralphie May

Ralphie May (1972–2017) was an American stand-up comedian and actor known for his energetic, observational style and for reaching a wide audience through television and touring. Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and raised in Clarksville, Arkansas, he began performing comedy as a teenager and later moved to Houston, Texas, to pursue stand-up more seriously. May gained national attention in 2003 as a finalist on NBC’s *Last Comic Standing*, which helped launch a prominent career in live performance. He released multiple comedy specials and albums and appeared in film and television projects. May died in 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
