Rebecca Romijn

Rebecca Romijn (born November 6, 1972) is an American actress and former fashion model. She began her career in modeling before moving into television and film. Romijn gained wide recognition for portraying Mystique in the early *X-Men* films (2000–2003). On television, she played Alexis Meade on ABC’s *Ugly Betty* and later starred as Joan in the comedy series *The Librarians*. Her other screen work includes roles in *Femme Fatale* (2002) and *The Punisher* (2004). Romijn has also appeared as a host on the reality competition series *Skin Wars*.
