Robert H. Schuller

Robert Harold Schuller (1926–2015) was an American pastor and televangelist best known for founding the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. Ordained in the Reformed Church in America, he began his ministry in Southern California in the 1950s and developed a large congregation that later built the glass-walled Crystal Cathedral, dedicated in 1980. Schuller created and hosted the television program *Hour of Power*, which became widely syndicated and helped make him a prominent figure in American religious broadcasting. He was associated with a “possibility thinking” message and authored numerous books. Schuller died in 2015.
