Robert Half

Robert Half (1892–1978) was an American businessman best known as the founder of Robert Half, a staffing and consulting firm that became a major name in professional recruiting. He established the company in the mid-20th century, focusing on specialized placement services for businesses seeking skilled talent. Half’s work helped shape modern approaches to temporary and permanent staffing, particularly in fields such as accounting and finance. Though not primarily known as a literary author, his name is associated with business leadership and the growth of a firm that expanded nationally and internationally. He died in 1978.
