Robin Trower (born 9 March 1945) is an English guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He first gained prominence as a member of Procol Harum, joining the band in 1967 and playing on albums including *A Salty Dog* (1969) and *Home* (1970). After leaving Procol Harum in 1971, he launched a solo career that showcased a blues-rock style and expressive guitar tone. His breakthrough solo release was *Bridge of Sighs* (1974), which became his best-known album and a staple of 1970s rock guitar music. Trower has continued recording and touring for decades, releasing numerous studio albums.
