Ronny Edry

Ronny Edry is an Israeli graphic designer and educator. He is best known for initiating the 2012 social media peace campaign “Israel Loves Iran,” also known as “Israel Loves Iran / Iran Loves Israel.” Launched online, the project used simple graphic posters and personal messages to encourage empathy and dialogue between Israelis and Iranians amid political tensions. The campaign quickly spread across social networks and drew international attention, inspiring people to share supportive images and statements in response. Through this work, Edry became associated with the use of design and digital platforms as tools for civic engagement and peace-oriented communication.
