Sam Levenson

Sam Levenson was born in NYC in 1911. He grew up on a large family of Jewish immigrants in Brooklyn, New York and attended Brooklyn College, graduating in 1934. Levenson initially worked as a Spanish teacher in Brooklyn but later became known as the host of TV shows such as Two for the Money and The Sam Levenson Show. He also appeared frequently on The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show and often guest hosted for The Price Is Right and other shows. Additionally, Levenson authored several books, including Everything But Money and You Don’t Have to Be in Who’s Who to Know What’s What.
